This is the third shoot in the Cantrell’s ” Year of photos ” family album. I love these packages because it’s so much fun to get to know the family you are shooting with and see how much these kids grow in such a short period of time. We had a wonderful shoot with tons of great candid shots. I can’t wait to put this coffee table book together it is going to be amazing.
This wedding was a grand event to say the least. We provided both photography and videography coverage for this four day event. My crew and I have never felt more welcomed and appreciated as we did while shooting this wedding. Not only did we have a great time shooting and getting to know the bride, groom and family but we stuffed ourselves silly with wonderful Indian food! There was never a shortage of music and dancing and nobody ever got stressed out! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to shoot… and the pictures turned out great!

On Monday I had an amazing shoot with the Nagel family. Drew and Sara are were great to work with they were both very excited to have their pictures done. These two should be models they were so photogenic everyone of my shots just looked awesome. Finally we had a day that wasn’t over 100 degrees and so we went out to the park. I love shooting outside and there were so many great places to shoot where we were. Here a few of my favorite shots.

A few weeks ago I had wonderful time shooting the beautiful daughter of Brad and Amy Armstrong. Avery Armstrong was born July 12th 2009 and weighed 7lbs 11oz. Avery was a natural model she was a great sport with all the poses we made her do. As long as we had the pacifier near by she was OK! She has become great friends with the dog Nacho and before I left she really wanted to get a shot with her new friend. Nacho was happy to oblige. Here are a few of my favorite shots! Click on the photos to see them bigger.

Allison and Lee were a great couple to work with. I couldn’t have asked for happier, fun, and laid back clients! Allison and Lee were getting married in their new house and they somehow converted this house into a beautiful wedding venue. There were no details left out and it was an absolute beautiful wedding. This was a small gathering of close friends and relatives and everyone had a blast. Here are some of my favorite photos.

Travis Taylor represents my earliest memory of a best friend. We attended elementary school together and lived in the same neighborhood. We spent many a day in and out of the local ditches catching turtles, snakes, and crawfish. I would always bring over tapes of classic rock tunes that I borrowed from my older brother and I was always amazed how he could listen and play anything from Eddie Van Halen to Jimmy Page. He has alway played in bands, and I’ve always supported him whenever I can. Last night he was performing in Dallas and I was able to go check him out. He and his beautiful wife Tracey are both gifted vocalist, together with the band they were awesome! I strongly encourage everyone to check out his myspace page and website, he rocks! You can find links to his sites in the right column of my blog. Below are a few pictures I took at the show!
The Band is:
Travis Taylor – Lead Vocals, Guitar
Tracey Taylor – Vocals
Ryan Tallent – Bass
Erick Cole – Electric Guitar
Aaron Hass – Drums

This past week I had the great privilege of shooting the Bates Family. Carla and Wiley are the parents of Christian who was a perfectly behaved picture taker and made my job very easy! This photo shoot was timed perfectly because Christians grandparents, Wiley and Donna were visiting from Ohio. It was great to meet Wiley and Donna who have been married for over 40 years. It was great to be able to capture some beautiful images with this whole side of the family. I had a wonderful time shooting with the Bates family, they are a beautiful family and they made my pictures look good! Here are some of my favorite photos.

The Cantrell Family is the wonderful family that purchased my Coffee table book at a charity auction for The Samaritan Inn. This is the first session out of four that we will do this year. I love doing multiple shoot throughout the year because it really allows me to get to know the family and in the end that always makes for better photos. I spent a wonderful couple of hours with Tracy Cantrell and her three lovely kids Timmy, Thomas and Taylor. We started with the two boys and they had been well prepared by mom. They had their smiles on and they were great sports. Taylor is the baby and she was such a great picture taker. She was all smiles and we were able to get some wonderful shots. Here are some of my favorite:
